Frontend System

Robots are complex, but controlling them shouldn’t be. The Frontend System Team designs and builds the user interfaces for the MujinController. Our goal is to make setting up and managing industrial robots as intuitive as using a smartphone.

A 3D-heavy, web-based interface that runs on the teaching pendant. It allows users to:

  • Visualize the robot and environment in real-time (WebGL).
  • Configure pick-and-place tasks with drag-and-drop simplicity.
  • Monitor system health and error logs.

We also build internal and external dashboards for warehouse management systems (WMS) integration and fleet monitoring.

Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for robot programming languages. By providing a powerful GUI, we enable factory workers and systems integrators to deploy robots without writing a single line of code.

We are a team of designers and engineers working closely together. We iterate fast, prototype often, and constantly test our designs on real robots in the Mujin office.
